“La table des enfants” at the Festin exhibition in Paris

From 22 to 27 November 2019, ‘La table des enfants’ by Pierre Carron will be included in a selection of works by 32 leading visual artists on the French art scene at the exhibition ‘Festin’, an original art and charity project hosted by PIASA.

‘Founded in 1991 by Gérard Garouste, La Source is an association with a social and educational mission pursued through artistic expression. Artists have always been its driving force. Throughout the year, they lead workshops with children and young people facing difficulties in their social or school lives. Artists support special events such as Festin, which enable the association to raise funds and continue its work with children and young people.’

The Festin works had first been shown to the public in spring 2019, until 17 June, on the hoardings of the Table Square construction site at La Défense, curated by Guillaume Garouste (Artegalore) with the support of Urban Renaissance. The sale on 27 November 2019 raised 257,900 euros for La Source (Defense-92, March 2019; December 2019).
